Quality AssuranceColourscan's quality assurance program is self-implemented with third party accreditation AS/NZS ISO 9002 issued October 1991. We have chosen to have our accreditation lapse, as internal QA Procedures are more relevant to our business to meet and exceed industry standards. Using QA procedures which have been refined over nearly 20 years of operation, product integrity is assured. Control of our client's brand begins when colour proofs are generated from our job files. The actual file that creates the colour proof is further used to generate the printing plates and then transfer set-up and colour control data to the printing press. The colour control data is used during the entire print run, continually scanning and comparing printed sheets against the original approved colour proof and automatically adjusting the printing press where required. Once detailed client brand guidelines are received, we recreate these within our systems in the Creative/Digital Imaging Department. This data is then sent via our RIP and colour management software. If required, colour correction data will be reviewed and applied as necessary to match client guidelines. Once these have been matched, the data correction files are stored and automatically applied to all future jobs. |
